மலமில்லை மாசில்லை மானாபி மானம்
குலமில்லை கொள்ளும் குணங்களும் இல்லை
நலமில்லை நந்தியை ஞானத்தி னாலே
பலமன்னி அன்பில் பதித்துவைப் போர்க்கே. 1
Mala none; impurity none; pride and prejudice none;Family none, excellences none; affluence none;For them who in wisdomPlant themselves in Nandi-Firm in his love.
ஒழிந்தேன் பிறவி உறவென்னும் பாசம்
கழிந்தேன் கடவுளும் நானும்ஒன் றானேன்
அழிந்தாங்கு இனிவரும் ஆக்கமும் வேண்டேன்
செழுஞ்சார் புடைய சிவனைக் கண் டேனே. 2
Ended the birth; sundered the bonds;God and I one became;No more for me the way of rebirth;I have met Siva the Auspicious.
ஆலைக் கரும்பும் அமுதும்அக் காரமும்
சோலைத் தண்ணீரும் உடைத்தெங்கள் நாட்டிடைப்
பீலிக்கண் அன்ன வடிவுசெய் வாளொரு
கோலப்பெண் ணாட்குக் குறை யொன்றும் இல்லையே. 3
Cane of sugar, rice of fineness, garments of richnessAnd water of green glades too,Our Land possesses;By the Grace of lovely Lady,That is peacock shaped,Nothing we want, nothing, indeed.
ஆராலும் என்னை அமட்டஒண் ணாதிதினிச்
சீரார் பிரான்வந்தென் சிந்தை புகுந்தனன்
சீராடி அங்கே திரிவதால் லால் இனி
யார்படுஞ் சாரா அறிவறிந் தேனே. 4
None can intimidate me hereafter,The Lord came and entered my thoughts,There will I sport and wander in joy;No more will I with anyone else be.
பிரிந்தேன் பிரமன் பிணித்ததோர் பாசம்
தெரிந்தேன் சிவகதி செல்லும் நிலையை
அரிந்தேன் வினையை அயில்மன வாளால்
முரிந்தேன் புரத்தினை முந்துகின் றேனே. 5
I freed myself of fettersThe Creator bound me with,I learned the way of reaching Siva;I smote Karmas with the sharp sword of mind,I stood ego lost;And now I hasten toward the City of God.
ஒன்றுகண் டீர்உல குக்கொரு தெய்வமும்
ஒன்றுகண் டீர்உல குக்குஉயி ராவது
நன்றுகண் டீர்இனி நமசிவா யப்பழம்
தின்றுகண் டேற்கிது தித்தித்த வாறே. 6
One the God for worlds all,One is He, the life of worlds all,Lovely indeed is Namasivaya Fruit,Sweet it is to themWho of it tasted.
சந்திரன் பாம்பொடும் சூடும் சடாதரன்
வந்தென்னை யாண்ட மணிவிளக்கு ஆனவன்
அந்தமும் ஆதியும் இல்லா அரும்பொருள்
சிந்தையின் மேவித் தியக்கு அறுத் தானே. 7
The Lord who wears moon and serpent on His matted hair,He, the jewelled lampThat accepted me in His service,The Being Rare,Neither beginning nor end has,He entered my thoughts and made me doubt-free.
பண்டுஎங்குள் ஈசன் நெடுமால் பிரமனைக்
கண்டுஅங்கு இருக்கும் கருத்தறி வாரில்லை
விண்டு அங்கே தோன்றி வெறுமனம் ஆயிடில்
துண்டு அங்கு இருந்ததோர் தூறுஅது வாமே. 8
Brahma and Vishnu, of yore,Our Lord created;And There He remains ever,None know why;If renouncing all,Jiva There appears,And empties its thoughts,No more birth in carnal body will be.
அன்னையும் அத்தனும் அன்புற்றது அல்லது
அன்னையும் அத்தனும் ஆரறி வார்என்னை
அன்னையும் அத்தனும் யானும் உடனிருந்து
அன்னையும் அத்தனை யான்புரிந் தேனே. 9
Unless the Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother love me,How shall the worldly father and worldly mother knoweth me?The Father, Mother and I were together seated;My Father and Mother, I adoring.
கொண்ட சுழியும் குலவரை உச்சியும்
அண்டரும் அண்டத் தலைவரும் ஆதியும்
எண்டிசை யோரும்வந்து என்கைத் தலத்துளே
உண்டனர் நானினி உய்ந்தொழிந் தேனே. 10
The seas vast,The mountain peaks high,The denizens of the universe,And those who hold their sway there,The Primal Sakti,And the people in directions eight-All, all, came within my grasp;Redeemed am I, high above all.
தானே திசையொடு தேவருமாய் நிற்கும்
தானே வடவரை ஆதியுமாய நிற்கும்
தானே உடலுயிர் தத்துவமாய் நிற்கும்
தானே உலகில் தலைவனும் ஆமே. 11
Himself as space and Celestials stands,Himself as body, life and matter stands,Himself as sea, hill and dale stands,Himself-all worlds\' Lord Supreme.
நமன்வரின் ஞானவாள் கொண்டே எறிவன்
சிவன்வரின் நானுடன் போவது திண்ணம்
பவம்வரும் வல்வினை பண்டே யறுத்தேன்
தவம்வரும் சிந்தைத் தான்எதிராரே. 12
If God of Death comes,I shall smite him with Sword of Jnana,If Siva comes,I am sure to go with Him;Long back had I sundered Karma,To birth leads;Who can stand against Thought,Of intense devotion born?
சித்தம் சிவமாய் மலமூன்றும் செற்றவர்
சுத்தச் சிவமாவர் தோயார் மலபந்தம்
சுத்தும் சிலகும் கலகமும் கைகாணார்
சத்தம் பரவிந்து தானாம்என்று எண்ணியே. 13
Their thoughts are Siva-filled;They have destroyed Malas threeSuddha Siva they have become;To Mala\'s bondage they return not;Shouts, confusion and fights (of this world),They indulge not in;Immersed are they in Nada and Para Bindu.
நினைப்பும் மறப்பும் இலாதவர் நெஞ்சம்
வினைப்பற்று அறுக்கும் விமலன் இருக்கும்
வினைப்பற்று அறுக்கும் விமலனைத் தேடி
நினைக்கப் பெறில்அவன் நீளியன் ஆமே. 14
They who cognizeNeither remembering nor forgetting,In their thoughts,The Pure One, who uproots Karmas,Stand;Seeking the Pure One,Who uproots KarmasThey who think of Him, long long live.
சிவபெரு மான்என்று நான்அழைத்து ஏத்தத்
தவப்பெரு மான்என்று தான்வந்து நின்றான்
அவபெரு மான்என்னை யாளுடை நாதன்
பவபெரு மானைப் பணிந்துநின் றேனே. 15
O! Siva, my Great Lord-thus I hailed Him;And as a tapasvin the Holy Lord was before me;He the Desired Lord, who accepted me in His serviceHim I stood adoring, the Lord Eternal.
பணிந்துநின் றேன்பர மாதி பதியைத்
துணிந்துநின் றேன்இனி மற்றொன்றும் வேண்டேன்
அணிந்துநின் றேன்உடல் ஆதிப் பிரானைத்
தணிந்துநின் றேன்சிவன் தன்மைகண் டேனே. 16
Him I adored, the Param, the Primal Lord,Determined I stood, nothing else I seek;In my body I held Him in union, the First One;Meek in prayer I stood and I saw my Siva\'s Being.
என்நெஞ்சம் ஈசன் இணையடி தாம் சேர்ந்து
முன்னம்செய்து ஏத்த முழுதும் பிறப்பறும்
தன்நெஞ்சம் இல்லாத் தலைவன் தலைவிதி
பின்னம்செய்து என்னைப் பிணக்கறுத் தானே. 17
The Lord filled my thoughts,His Feet I beseeched;As I thus entered His Presence,He ended my birth\'s whirl;-He the Lord that has Thoughts none;My Fate He fragmented,My bonds He sundered.
பிணக்கறுத் தான்பிணி மூப்பறுத்து எண்ணும்
கணக்கறுத் தாண்டவன் காண்நந்தி என்னைப்
பிணக்கறுத்து என்னுடன் முன்வந்த துன்பம்
வணக்கலுற் றேன்சிவன் வந்தது தானே. 18
My contradictions He resolved;Disease, age and life\'s reckoning He ended;Thus He accepted me in His service,He my Nandi;My contradictions resolved,My life\'s sorrows, I laid low;And Siva, of Himself appeared.
சிவன்வந்து தேவர் குழாமுடன் கூடப்
பவம்வந் திடநின்ற பாசம் அறுத்திட்டு
அவன்எந்தை ஆண்டருள் ஆதிப் பெருமான்
அவன்வந்தென் னுள்ளே அகப்பட்ட வாறே. 19
Siva with His Celestial retinue entered in me;He severed my bonds to births give rises;He is my Father,He the Primal Lord that in His service accepted me;Into Grace my heart entered;And there, imprisoned, remained.
கரும்பும் தேனும் கலந்ததோர் காயத்தில்
அரும்பும் கந்தமும் ஆகிய ஆனந்தம்
விரும்பியே உள்ளம் வெளியுறக் கண்டபின்
கரும்பும் கைத்தது தேனும் புளித்ததே. 20
In this body of pleasuresUnto sugarcane and honey mixed,Sprouted the Fragrance of Siva Bliss;In eagerness my heart sought itAnd I visioned the Void;Then did the cane taste bitterAnd honey sour.
உள்ள சரியாதி ஒட்டியே மீட்டென்பால்
வள்ளல் அருத்தியே வைத்த வளம்பாடிச்
செய்வன எல்லாம் சிவமாகக் காண்டலால்
கைவளம் இன்றிக் கருக்கடந் தேனே. 21
Having pursued the ways of Chariya and the rest,And having received the Bounteous Being\'s Grace,I stand praising Him ever;All that I do,I see as of Siva\'s doings;With no more Karma left,I crossed the sea of births.
மீண்டார் கமலத்துள் அங்கி மிகச்சென்று
தூண்டா விளக்கிக் தகளிசெய் சேர்தலும்
பூண்டாள் ஒருத்தி புவன சூடாமணி
மாண்டான் ஒருவன்கை வந்தது தானே. 22
Into the thousand petalled lotus (in Sahasrathala),The Kundalini fire shot up fierce;And as with the fat of my heart\'s love, I made it blaze,She the Sakti appeared,She the Jewel of worlds all;The one, he died, my EgoityAnd the One, He appeared, my Siva.
ஆறே அருவி அகங்குளம் ஒன்றுண்டு
நூறே சிவகதி நுண்ணிது வண்ணமும்
கூறே குவிமுலை கொம்பனை யாளொடும்
வேறே யிருக்கும் விழுப்பொருள் தானே. 23
The Six streams (of Adharas)Into one lake flow;Thus in Way subtleInto Siva-State penetrate;There indeed is the Precious Truth,Himself with Sakti stands,-She of bouncing breasts and tender vine form.
அன்புள் உருகி அழுவன் அரற்றுவன்
என்பும் உருக இராப்பகல் ஏத்துவன்
என்பொன் மணியை இறைவனை ஈசனைத்
தின்பன் கடிப்பன் திருத்துவன் தானே. 24
My heart melting, I moan and rave,My bones melting, I adore day and night,My gold, my Guru, my Lord, my God,Him I eat, bite and chew.
மனம்வி ரிந்து குவிந்தது மாதவம்
மனம்வி ரிந்து குவிந்தது வாயு
மனம்வி ரிந்து குவிந்தது மன்னுயிர்
மனம்வி ரிந்துரை மாண்டது முத்தியே. 25
The mind blossomed and converged in tapas great;The mind blossomed and converged in yoga breath;The mind blossomed and converged for the Jiva;When the mind blosso- beyond words to describe,Then is Mukti Finale.
