முன் மந்திரத்தில் கூறிய மூன்று அறுதிகளுள் தொம்பத அறுதியில் (சீவ அறுதியில்) மாயா - மலமும், தற்பத அறுதியில் பர அறுதியில்) ஆணவ மலமும், அசிபத அறுதியில் (சிவ அறுதியில்) கன்ம மலமும் நீங்கும். அவ்வாறே அம்மூன்று அறுதிகளிலும் முறையே இராசதம், சாத்துவீகம் தாமதம் என்னும் குறைகள் நீங்கும். இவ்வாறு மூவறுதியில் மும்மலங்களும், முக்குணங் களும் நீங்குதல் நிலாவின் முன் இருள் நீங்குதலை ஒக்கும்.
