மூவகை ஆன்மாக்களும் தாம் தாம் பெற்ற தனு கரணத்தளவாக அறிவு விளங்கப் பெறுதலின், அவை யாவும் `அணு` எனப்படுகின்றன ஆயினும் அவற்றின் உண்மை நிலை பதியைப் போல வியாபகமே. பாசத் தடை நீங்கியபின் உயிர் தனது உண்மை நிலை யாகிய வியாபக நிலையை அடையும். ஆயினும், பதியினது வியாபகத்தில் அது வியாப்பியமேயாம். உயிர்களின் ஏகதேச நிலை, வியாபக நிலை ஆகிய இருநிலைகளும் என்றும் ஒரு பெற்றியனாய் உள்ள பதியே அவைகட்கு ஆவனவற்றைச் செய்துநிற்பான்.
