The Lord of blemishless glory, from death and birth immune, Permits none to enjoy bliss, unearned by worthy deed; Giving and gifting--of these always think; Deny and cause pain; You stand condemned to the Pasu state indeed.
உயிர்கள் நலம்பெறுதலும், தீங்குறுதலும் இறைவன் செய்யும் நடுவு நிலைமையே (நீதியே) அதனால், அவை அறம் அல்லாதவற்றைச் செய்து அவற்றானே இன்பம் அடைய விரும் புதலை அவன் ஒருபோதும் உடன்படான். ஆகையால், மாந்தரீர், இன்பம் கெடுதற்கு ஏதுவாகிய பாவத்தைச் செய்தல் விலங்கின் செயலேயாகி விடும்; அதனை அறிந்து நீவிர் உயர்ந்தோர்க்குக் கொடுத்தலையும், தாழ்ந்தோர்க்கு ஈதலையும் செய்ய நினையுங்கள்.
